Makerspace: 3D Printing - What Does It Take If I Want a Printer?

A volunteer from Makerspace gives a lecture on what it takes to get started with 3D printing at home.

The lecture covers the history and development of 3D printing, the software used to design and prepare models, and what it practically means to own a printer - maintenance, materials, and common challenges. Experiences with different printer types and the considerations relevant when choosing your first printer are also shared.

The event is aimed at adults who are curious about 3D printing and want a better foundation for assessing whether it is something for them.
