Beaver and Bat Tour at Arrenæs 2 - WILD

Join a guided evening tour to observe beavers and bats in their natural habitat at Arrenæs. Registration required with name and membership number; maximum 25 participants.

Beavers and bats rest during the day and emerge at dusk after sunset. While human ears cannot detect the high-frequency sounds bats produce, our portable detectors measure these frequencies, allowing us to identify the species. The association provides some binoculars, but feel free to bring your own.

From the beaver shelter, we will search for bats and the shy beavers. Please bring a RED light source, such as a bicycle rear light, to avoid blinding each other in the dark when finding our way back to the parking area through the forest. Dress according to the weather and remember it can get cool after sunset.
