Mushroom Festival at Vejlefjord

A nature walk for everyone interested in mushrooms - no prior knowledge needed. We search for edible mushrooms such as Scutiger, Parasol mushroom, and Chanterelles, and we also cover the poisonous species so you learn to tell the difference.

Along the way there are mushroom exhibitions, and mushroom soup and mushroom stew are prepared. Coffee and tea are free, but bring a packed lunch, basket, small knife, cutlery, mug and deep plate.

The tour leaders are mushroom guides Inger Kaxe, Birte and Bodil Rolle, and nature guides Martin B Gæbe, Bettina Brender and Benny Jensen. Organizers are Hedensted Municipality, DN Hedensted and N&U Hedensted. The tour is free.
