Bat Tour for Families

When darkness falls over nature, a special magic emerges. Our senses sharpen in new ways, opening up to fresh and exciting experiences. The daytime animals settle down, and out come countless other creatures that scurry and hunt in the dark.

Darkness is the backdrop for our bat tour for families.

We begin with stories about the night and the creatures that live in it, with a special focus on bats. As darkness falls, we'll use bat detectors to search for bats and, with a bit of luck, catch glimpses of these remarkable "silent" mammals as they hunt insects with impressive flying skills.

Bring a torch if you like. Entry is free. The tour is cancelled in case of rain.
