The Princesses' First Christmas - December 5 at 2:00 PM

The Princesses' First Christmas: Saturday 5 December 2026, 14:00–14:45, Det lille Teater, Gråsten. Tickets cost 50 kr.

The Princesses' First Christmas is a Christmas story by Kristina Gude-Hansen. The princesses in the castle have never celebrated Christmas, as their father the king has forbidden it. The court jesters tell how elves and mice helped each other put the king in a Christmas mood again. Three things are needed, and which ones are revealed during the performance.

The play is for the whole family and is performed by children and adults from Det lille Teater in Gråsten. Kristina Gude-Hansen has both written and directed it.

The performance takes place in the hall at Det lille Teater, Ladegårdskov 14, 6300 Gråsten. It lasts 30-40 minutes without intermission, so it works well for the youngest. The audience sits on bleachers with unnumbered seats, and doors open 30 minutes before the start.

After the performance, you can buy æbleskiver (Danish pancakes), coffee, hot chocolate, and soft drinks. If you want to be sure to get æbleskiver, you can order three æbleskiver with coffee, tea, or hot chocolate for 30 kr. when you buy your ticket. These are served after the performance.
