DN Guldborgsund Annual Meeting

DN Guldborgsund holds its annual meeting on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 in Sakskøbing. The evening begins with a lecture by geologist Walter Brüsch, senior advisor at Danmarks Naturfredningsforening and known from DR's Jorden Kalder, Ubegribeligt, and Genstart.

The lecture covers groundwater - why clean water is crucial for life on Earth, and how decades of pesticide, chemical, PFAS, nitrate, and other toxic substance seepage threaten Danish drinking water. Denmark has traditionally been able to drink groundwater almost directly from the tap, but that picture is changing.

After the lecture, DN Guldborgsund and DN Lolland each hold their local annual meetings in accordance with their bylaws. Everyone is welcome.
