DN Lolland Annual Meeting
took place · 7 Oct 2026
Description was written before the event
Geologist Walter Brüsch gives a lecture on groundwater - why clean water is crucial, what threatens it, and how we can best protect it. Brüsch is a senior advisor at Danmarks Naturfredningsforening (Danish Nature Conservation Society) and is known from the DR programmes Jorden Kalder, Ubegribeligt and Genstart.
The lecture addresses the fact that Danish groundwater has been exposed for decades to seepage of pesticides, chemicals, PFAS and nitrate - raising questions about whether we can still safely drink water directly from the tap.
Following the lecture, DN Guldborgsund and DN Lolland hold separate annual meetings in accordance with their bylaws. Everyone is welcome.
