Scything at Gentofte Lake
Join volunteers for a special day of traditional scything at the wildflower meadow by Gentofte Lake. Learn the ancient technique of scything while helping to maintain this natural gem and its beautiful wild flowers.
Denmark's Nature Conservation Association (DN) Gentofte, the Danish Ornithological Society (DOF), Grøn Guide, and Gentofte Municipality invite you to a meaningful late-summer day at this beautiful flower meadow. Scything is an old technique that is both fun and good exercise.
