The Bustling Life on Land and in Water
Sat, 12 Sep 2026 · 10:00 — 12:00
Insects are everywhere - in the air, on the ground, and in the water. At Skanderborg Lake, adults and children can try their hand at insect catching, and occasionally a leech or a ramshorn snail ends up in the catch. Nets and trays are available, and all children receive a magnifying glass so you can get a close look at the animals.
On dry land, the spider guide takes you on a spider safari. Spiders are not insects - they belong to the arachnids - but they are fascinating and quite cool.
If you feel like building your own birdhouse, there is also an opportunity to do so in the birdhouse workshop.
