OKAYNICO (support: Nima Rezai)

OKAYNICO works at the intersection of drum n bass, pop and rap with strong hooks, personal lyrics and energetic productions. The music moves between vulnerability and raw energy, and on stage he is known for an intense presence that shifts between explosivity and intimacy - no two concerts are alike.

Support comes from Nima Rezai, a Danish rapper with roots in progressive rap and inspiration from jazz, jerk and soul. His lyrics explore Kurdish heritage, political exile and struggles with addiction, told with a raw and vulnerable expression.

Nima has released two EPs, a mixtape and several singles, and has performed at festivals including SPOT Festival, Volume Village, Way Up North, Pumpehuset and Aarhus Festuge. He is currently working on his upcoming album with producer HoldUpAnti.
