DN Roskilde's Annual Meeting 2026: Walk, Shared Meal and Drinking Water Lecture
Roskilde Roklubs lokaler, Roskilde
The annual meeting begins with a one-hour walk in the area around the harbour. Meet outside Roskilde Rowing Club, Havnevej 47B, 4000 Roskilde - remember to dress appropriately for the weather.
After the walk there is a shared meal with sandwiches and drinks. If you want to eat, you must register by email by 14 October. If you prefer not to have food, you can simply show up without registering.
The evening's lecture is held by Walter Brüsch, geologist and senior advisor at DN. He is one of the country's leading experts on drinking water and will provide professional insight into the state of groundwater, pollution from agricultural pesticides and ways to ensure clean drinking water in the future. The background is that over half of Denmark's drinking water boreholes have been found contaminated with pesticide residues (see map: https://www.dn.dk/nyheder/se-kortet-sa-ofte-bliver-der-fundet-pesticidrester-i-drikkevandsboringer-i-din-kommune/).
Between the meal and lecture there is an annual report and election for two board positions. You can nominate yourself in advance by email or at the meeting itself. Read more about board work at https://roskilde.dn.dk/bliv-frivillig/
