Guided tour in Kragelund Mose

In the wetland, large herbivores such as cattle, buffalo, horses, goats and pigs manage the landscape and create conditions for diverse plant and animal life. On the tour we walk around the area and observe the animals' effect on nature, birdlife and the fascinating botany. The wetland contains several interesting plants including devil's-bit scabious, round-leaved sundew, marsh gentian, marsh clubmoss, tormentil, angelica, cat's tail and sneezewort.

We get close to the animals and experience them in their natural surroundings. Along the way, DN Billund offers coffee and cake.

Practical information
The tour takes place on Tuesday, 1 September 2026 at 18:30. We meet between the properties Staushedevejen 39-41, 6621 Gesten. Parking is available on the roadside or as directed. Remember to dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear, as the tour takes place in nature. Participants must be able to walk well. There are limited places available. Registration is by email - you are registered when you receive a reply. If the tour is overbooked, a waiting list will be created for a future tour.
