Come and Scythe at Kullerup Bjerget

Kullerup Bjerget is one of the most valuable natural areas in Nyborg Municipality - a protected grassland that requires ongoing maintenance to preserve its plant and animal diversity. To keep the area open, it is mown with scythes, and the cut grass is removed so that more modest plants can thrive. The work has produced clear results: thyme has appeared in larger quantities, to the delight of a more varied insect population.

The hay-cutting day is open to everyone without prerequisites. There are tasks both with scythes and rakes, and DN provides equipment as well as food and drink. Remember to wear sturdy footwear.

Registration is not required, but for catering purposes it is a good idea to send an email in advance.
