Adventure in the Twilight - Night in Nature at Flyvesandet

Bring your family out as dusk falls and nature slowly transforms around us.

Nordfyns Municipality invites you to another atmospheric evening at Flyvesandet, as part of the nationwide event Night in Nature.

The event takes place on Saturday, 5 September 2026, at 19:30, starting from the car park at Flyvesandet, Flyvesandsvej 38, 5450 Otterup.

The evening begins with a guided walk through the forest with a nature guide, where nature is experienced in the transition between day and night. The evening continues at the beach with a bonfire and communal singing. The evening concludes with refreshments - coffee, soft drinks and cake.

The event is particularly aimed at families with children aged 8-12, but everyone is welcome.

Look forward to a special evening with nature, community and atmosphere in the twilight.

The event is free but requires advance registration.

Practical information
There is a public toilet at the forest edge facing the beach.
Bring practical footwear and clothing suited to the weather.
The route is approximately 1.5 km long and takes place on uneven terrain.
