In the Footsteps of Literature - Nature Walks with Stories
A series of six leisurely nature walks where short stories, poems, and narratives are read aloud along the way. The pace and route are adapted so everyone can participate - no need to be an experienced hiker. Conversation is informal, and you're welcome to simply listen. After each walk, there is warm tea or coffee.
The walks are designed for seniors living with arthritis who are curious about what nature and literature can do for body and mind. They are led by two volunteer walk guides from the Arthritis Association (Gigtforeningen) and a librarian from Randers Library, who handles the literary content.
Meeting point: Fladbro Forest at Skovhuset, Fladbrovej 134, 8920 Randers NV - with parking at Himmelbovej 2, 8920 Randers. The walks take place every Wednesday at 10:00 from 26 August to 30 September.
Free entry. Registration and further information are available on the Arthritis Association's website. Questions can be directed to the Arthritis Association at sundeseniorer@gigtforeningen.dk or 39 77 80 92.
