Jesper Steinmetz - Lecture - A World in Upheaval

Jesper Steinmetz served as a TV correspondent in the USA for 14 years - longer than any other Danish TV correspondent - and has visited all 50 states. He draws on that experience when analyzing the tensions between the USA, Europe, and Greenland at a time when geopolitical power relations are shifting rapidly. Greenland's sudden role as a strategic piece in the great powers' game receives particular attention, and Steinmetz offers his perspective on what the new world order means for the Danish Realm.

Along the way, he shares stories from over two decades of work in the world's hotspots - meetings with power brokers and moments that never made it to the screen - as well as observations on the evolution of journalism and the role of the media.
