MADSEN plays at Pavillonen on Friday, March 19, 2027 - this time with a choir as a permanent part of the band. EKSTRA BLADET's Thomas Treo has given them five stars twice, and the newspaper placed MADSEN on the list of the five best concert experiences in 2025 - also twice. BERLINGSKE's reviewer attended the concert at Det Kongelige Teater and awarded six stars with the words: "By far the best concert of the year".

The band consists of Rasmus Madsen with Knud Møller at his side, Niels Ole Thorning on keys, Niels Kvist on bass and Casper Mikkelsen on drums. Choir: Signe Juhl, Amalie Egholm and Louise Støjberg.

About the venue: Pavillonen Grenaa

Kulturhuset Pavillonen is a cultural centre in Grenaa on Djursland, built in 1902 and expanded several times since. Its flexible halls seat more than 1,500 guests and host concerts, theatre, stand-up, lectures and conferences. From the late 1970s the venue built a strong music reputation - bands such as TV 2, Gnags and Lars HUG played here early in their careers. The building also houses a music school, an art school, amateur theatre groups and sports activities including handball and badminton.

Rasmus Madsen fronts the rock band MADSEN, carrying on the music of his father, West Jutland rock poet Johnny Madsen. The band plays raw rock n' roll rooted in Thyborøn and has drawn rave reviews across Denmark, including six stars from Berlingske and repeated five-star notices from Ekstra Bladet.
