Rasmus Madsen (born 1979 in Lemvig) fronts the Danish rock band MADSEN, carrying on the West Jutland rock poetry of his late father Johnny Madsen. The band brings together key members of Johnny's original lineup - including legendary guitarist Knud Møller - and plays what they call 'Thyborønrock'. Since their debut, MADSEN have drawn exceptional reviews: six stars from Berlingske and five stars twice from Ekstra Bladet's Thomas Treo, who also ranked them among the five best concert experiences of 2025.
