Between Life's Tremors and Life's Glimmers - Lecture

When dementia strikes a family member, relatives often face love, responsibility, grief, helplessness, and practical tasks all at once - with a sense that the illness is also taking hold of their own lives.

In this lecture, Anja Aalund shares her experiences as a relative of her husband with dementia. She puts words to the thoughts and feelings many relatives know but rarely voice aloud: Life's flickers - all that shakes, overturns, and changes life - and Life's glimmers - those moments of meaning, love, and vitality that can still be found in the midst of hardship - and everything in between.
