Jazz Lounge takes place every 2-3 weeks on Thursday evenings in Spisehuset at BRØK. A regular rhythm section of jazz musicians performs two sets and invites selected guest soloists to the stage.

The repertoire draws from the American songbook - jazz standards in swing style with bossa nova and samba rhythms woven in, held together by improvisation.

About the venue: Brønshøj Kulturhus

BRØK - Brønshøj Kulturhus opened in August 2024 in the renovated Brønshøj Gamle Skole, a building from 1901 right next to Brønshøj Torv. The house has a performance hall for concerts, theatre, film and talks, along with workshops for ceramics, textiles and visual arts. It is run by the City of Copenhagen and partly replaces the former Kulturhuset Pilegården.
