Thinking Pauses & Walking Tours
Four guided walking tours over autumn, held on Thursdays two weeks apart. Before each outing, participants read a "Thinking Pause" essay from Aarhus University, which forms the basis for conversation during the walk. The routes are located at four different spots in Randers Municipality and range from three to six kilometres, sometimes over hilly terrain. Duration is a maximum of two hours, but may finish half an hour earlier depending on the route and how much people want to talk.
Pernille Thoustrup Jensen and Inger Nygaard Kaad from Randers Library lead the programme and incorporate fiction related to each day's theme. About a month before the first outing, you will receive an email with information about when you can collect the first book - if it is available as an e-book or audiobook, a link will be included. Books are then distributed after each session. Registration covers all four outings.
