Stine Askov Reading Circle

Dronningborg Library in Randers is hosting a reading circle featuring three novels by Stine Askov, a Danish author known for contemporary fiction that has won both readers and literary prizes. One of her books, "Nøjsomheden", is being adapted into a film.

The reading circle meets three times in autumn 2026. Louise Boel leads the first session, and Inger Nygaard Kaad leads the two following sessions. Registration applies to all three meetings. Sessions run from 10:00 to 11:00 in Meeting Room 1 on the following dates:

Monday, 7 September: "Kaninens år"
Monday, 5 October: "Nøjsomheden"
Monday, 9 November: "Varme hænder"

Randers Library provides the books - you will receive information about pickup approximately one month before the first meeting.

Stine Askov trained as a pedagogue and worked in kindergarten for over 20 years before becoming a full-time author. She debuted in 2012 with "Bid" and has since published six novels in total.
