About the venue: Taastrup Teater & Musikhus

Taastrup Teater & Musikhus is a municipal theatre and music venue on Kjeld Abells Plads in Taastrup. It was founded in 1975 as Høje-Taastrup Teater and gained regional theatre status in 1982. The building is a converted gymnasium from the former Selsmoseskolen. In 2016 it took its current name to reflect a broader programme that pairs concerts and popular music with theatre.

This eight-piece from Tiree has spent more than two decades fusing Celtic tradition with electric rock and reggae, picking up the Live Act of the Year prize at the Scots Trad Music Awards four times along the way. Their ninth studio album, Beautiful Mistakes, arrives in November 2026.
