De 4 Maver

De 4 Maver is a jazz band from Aarhus that has made the street their primary stage. With a piano on wheels, they play at unexpected places and times - music that emerges in the moment, ranging from raw wildness to presence and poetry.

In recent years, the band has played over 100 concerts annually, including at Smukfest, Aarhus Jazz Festival, Riverboat Jazz Festival, and Arhusfest's 60th anniversary. They have also taken their street concerts to Europe, most recently on tour through Naples, Marseille, and Perugia during Umbria Jazz Festival.

The band consists of five friends living in Viby: Rasmus Kirkholt (saxophone), Oscar Balund (piano), Simon Svinding (drums), Gustav Lauridsen (bass), and Albert (saxophone).
