Mathias Heise Orchestra performs on Friday, 2 April 2027 at Rotationen in Holbæk with seven musicians on stage. This concert is one of five Danish dates on the tour. Rotationen is located at Havnegade 3 and serves as the professional venue for Fonden Sidesporet in the city - the space was formerly a printing facility for the local newspaper, and its raw concrete aesthetic and high ceilings have been preserved. The orchestra blends jazz, rock and contemporary orchestral music with Mathias Heise's chromatic harmonica at the centre, ranging from melodic and meditative passages to powerful rhythms and explosive moments. Tickets cost 400-695 kr.

About the venue: Rotationen

Rotationen is the professional music venue run by the non-profit Fonden Sidesporet on Havnegade in Holbæk. The hall once housed the local newspaper's two-storey rotary printing press - hence the name - and the raw concrete look and high ceilings have been kept. Today the room holds up to 200 guests and is equipped with a professional stage and a Martin Audio sound system. Alongside more than 50 concerts a year spanning pop, rock, folk and dance, the venue also hosts theatre performances, parties and receptions.
