Daells Varehus' History 1910-1999

Christen and Peter Møller Daell founded Daells Varehus in 1910 and built a retail empire where two annual catalogues - distributed across the country - played a central role. When the brothers stepped back and the next generation took over, internal conflicts and power struggles gradually brought the company down.
