Craft with Bats

Make your own bats from paint, eyes, "diamonds" and glitter, then hang them on branches. You can make just a couple of young bats or create an entire family - it's up to you. The activity takes place in Folkelab and is open to everyone from age 5; families and friends are welcome.

Bats have historically been surrounded by superstition: like black cats, they were seen as possible familiars for witches. Both are nocturnal hunters, and they hiss if you get too close - something that probably didn't reassure people back then.
