Knitting and Stories — Køge Bibliotek, Køge

Librarian Kim Jesper Josefsen reads from song lyrics and excerpts from both classic and contemporary literature while participants knit. There is room for conversation about what you hear - and about knitting.

Coffee and tea are provided. Bring your knitting and a willingness to discuss. Everyone is welcome regardless of skill level.

About the venue: Køge Bibliotek

Køge Bibliotek is the main public library for Køge Kommune, housed in older buildings right in the city centre near the market square and Køge Church. Spread across several floors, it holds fiction and non-fiction collections, a children's library, a local history archive and a makerspace with 3D printers and embroidery machines. The library runs a busy programme of author evenings, reading clubs and film screenings throughout the year.
