Moving Day Celebration

Biblioteket Slagelse has been given new life - and the children's area in particular has been transformed with cosy corners and space for imagination, play and reading. We celebrate this with a free family day from 10:00 to 14:00. Everyone is welcome, no registration needed. For ages 3-10.

The day opens at 10:00 with an opening speech and cake for the first 100 guests. The Reptile Company is present from 10-14 with animals such as ball python, Komodo dragon, alligator snapping turtle and emperor boa, and holds ongoing talks about the animals. The theatre group Skøre Strømere performs at 10:30, and from 11:30 there are creative activities in the children's library.

The celebration ends with a rock concert from 13-14: Det Stride Band plays energetic children's rock based on Jakob Martin Strid's Mustafas Kiosk. The children can also meet the library's new mascot Orm in the children's library.
