Embroidery Workshop: Beaded Fish Brooches

You don't need to be a goldsmith to create your own jewellery. With needle and thread, beads, sequins, and tiny fabric scraps, Helle Sager Møller shows you how to embroider brooches shaped like fish - vibrant or monochrome, glittering like their living counterparts beneath the sea. Your imagination sets the limit: a silver herring, a goldfish, a neon fish, a rainbow fish, or something entirely different.

All tools and materials are provided. If you have a thimble, special beads, embroidery thread, or similar items you'd like to use, bring them along. You must bring your own small sharp scissors - and reading glasses can be practical, as you'll be threading needles and sewing with small beads.

No embroidery or sewing experience is necessary. You'll learn a range of stitches and techniques throughout the day and go home with your own fish brooch.
