Creative Rest in BRØK (morning course)
Brønshøj Kulturhus, Copenhagen · 250 kr. · ≈ 33 €
Are you recovering from stress, taking a break from your studies, or looking for a quiet and caring space? Creative Calm is a three-session course for you who want to make something with your hands in a safe community - regardless of background or pace.
The course takes place on Tuesdays, 2 September, 9 September and 16 September, all days 9:30-12:00. One ticket covers all three sessions. Each session introduces a new creative theme - you can also bring your own handwork. Materials and drinks are included, and no prior experience is needed. During the course you can learn to make paper flowers, embroidery, wrapping samples and beaded flowers.
The price is 250 kr. for all three sessions, and it can be converted into a membership of BRØK's workshops for the rest of 2026 plus access to the "Creative Calm" community after the course ends.
"Creative Calm" is a confidential space - what is shared there stays there. The two instructors are not psychologists or therapists, but have broad experience creating safe spaces for creative communities.
Instructors:
Pia Galschiøt Bentzen is a designer with her own business that combines nature, life and death in sustainable urns. She is particularly fond of flowers and has developed her own method for making paper flowers. She has taught many workshops in this and other creative activities, and lives in Brønshøj with her husband and two daughters.
Anja Kolby is behind Casa Alfa - her colourful home, creative studio and botanical oasis. She is trained as a graphic designer and stylist and works for both private clients and companies. Anja paints, draws and embroiders jungles and coral reefs, and finds peace herself in creative work as a neurodivergent person. She lives in Brønshøj with her husband and two children.
