Nath Krause with Blue Lake

Nath Krause is one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary Danish poetry. Educated at Talentskolen's Writers' Programme, they debuted in 2023 with Logan i Aokigahara, which won both the Munch-Christensen Debut Prize and the Poetry Prize. In 2025 came Trilogi, which received the Montana Literature Prize.

Trilogi consists of three suites - Incest er en besparelse, kannibalisme er en besparelse, Toyota Corolla and De bedste familier/Spræng fabrikken - in which perspectives shift continuously, and transformation, beauty, empathy and violence flow together and can no longer be separated. At Sydhavnen Literature Festival, Nath Krause reads from the suite Incest er en besparelse, kannibalisme er en besparelse accompanied by Blue Lake.

Blue Lake is an instrumental project led by American musician and composer Jason Dungan, based in Copenhagen. Drawing on folk, ambient, jazz and experimental music, the project works with handmade string instruments, guitar, clarinet and acoustic textures. Blue Lake received international attention for the album Sun Arcs (2023), which American music magazine Pitchfork named "best new music".
