Nature Walks - Gentle Mobilization in the Name of Climate Action

A 6-8 kilometer walk on Amager Fælled featuring readings from the climate activist group Forfattere ser grønt. At four or five stops along the route, literary and philosophical texts about the relationship between humans and nature, and about the climate and biodiversity crisis, will be read. Between the readings there is time to walk, listen, and discuss the texts.

The walk features Ursula Andkjær Olsen, Maja Lucas, and Jesper Stein. Ursula Andkjær Olsen is a poet and co-founder of the group, recipient of awards including the Montana Literature Prize and the Prince Henrik Prize. Maja Lucas is an author and co-founder; she debuted with Jegfortællinger and most recently published the poetry collection Tennisdigte. Jesper Stein is an author and journalist, known for the Axel Steen crime series and the novels Lejr and Terræn.

Forfattere ser grønt was founded in 2021 and works with literature and activism to highlight the biodiversity and climate crisis through readings, opinion pieces, petition campaigns, and climate actions.
