Introduction to Singing Bowls and Sound Bowls - Workshop

Curious about singing bowls and sound bowls but unsure where to start? This introductory workshop covers the essentials.

We explore the difference between machine-made and hand-crafted bowls and how it affects the sound, how to strike a singing bowl correctly, the "rimming" technique that makes the bowl sing, and how to choose the right bowl for you. We also look at how bowls affect body and mind - relaxation, calm, and pain-reducing effects. The workshop combines theory with plenty of hands-on time so you leave with a solid understanding of this ancient craft.

Many singing and sound bowls are provided during the course, and you can purchase bowls, bells, and French wind chimes. If you already own bowls, you're welcome to bring them along.
