A singing circle for pregnant women exploring how song and voice can support pregnancy and birth. Regardless of your singing experience or how far along you are in your pregnancy, you are welcome to open your voice in a safe space.

The instructor is Randi Kjær, who has 17 years of experience and is the author of the book "Sung into the World". The focus is not on performance, but on the presence and support of the voice. You can participate once or multiple times - it costs 100 kr. per session.

The programme is divided into four independent sessions:
21/10 10:00-13:00 - Being sung for during pregnancy
28/10 10:00-13:00 - Being sung for in the time just before birth
4/11 10:00-13:00 - Singing during your birth
11/11 10:00-13:00 - Singing for your unborn child

About the venue: Islands Brygge Bibliotek

Islands Brygge Bibliotek on Njalsgade is a small public library that has occupied the same spot in the old part of the Islands Brygge neighbourhood since 1966. The single-room space houses both adult and children's sections, with shelves stocked with new titles. Beyond lending, the library runs reading clubs, author events, book cafés and regular children's activities such as storytelling and theatre. Self-service access is available every day 08:00-20:00; a health card is required outside staffed hours.
