BREVET: NUTIDENS EVENTYR
THE LETTER is Teater Momentum's talk and theatre concept where an unpublished letter - written by a contemporary novelist - is opened on stage in front of the audience. Actor Esben Dalgaard receives and reads the letter aloud, and both before and after the reading he converses with the author about the letter's content and themes.
Esben Dalgaard Andersen is known from series such as 1864, Kastanjemanden and Gidseltagningen as well as films like Klassefesten II and Når Dyrene Drømmer. He has also hosted television programmes and given lectures about his personal battle with melanoma.
This time the letter is written by novelist Peter H. Fogtdal from Forlaget Falco in Odense, and the task has been to offer a vision of a modern tale. The production is created in collaboration between Forlaget Falco, H.C. Andersen Festivals and Teater Momentum.
Performing: Jeppe Sand and Esben Dalgaard. Author: Peter H. Fogtdal.
