Stauning Whisky, Gin & Drink Evening with Bo Nygaard Larsen

On Friday, November 20, from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, Bo Nygaard Larsen from Stauning Whisky returns to Alverdens Vine for the fourth consecutive year. He will update guests on developments at Stauning and answer classic questions: what is the difference between rye and malt whisky, and when does a whisky become THE whisky?

This year, gin and drinks have been added to the lineup, so the evening features tastings of whiskies, a gin and tonic, and a whisky sour. The ticket includes 6 glasses, drinks, snacks, and charcuterie.

Stauning Whisky began in 2005 as a hobby project when nine friends set out to produce high-quality Danish whisky in a former slaughterhouse in western Jutland, using local ingredients and traditional methods. In 2018, a new, larger distillery opened. Since then, Stauning has won awards globally, including for Smoke (best Danish single malt at World Whisky Awards 2019), Young Rye, and Belize Rum Cask Finish. The distillery is also the first Danish distillery ever to appear on the "Top 50 Whisky Worldwide" list.
