The Hunt for Murderers Never Stops — Magion Biblioteket, Grindsted

Frederik Strand, director of the Police Museum, takes the audience through some of Denmark's most notorious criminal and murder cases - including the Damhus murder, the Bomber from Gladsaxe, the Amager Man, and six women murdered in 1990s Copenhagen. The focus is on how modern technology and new investigative methods have made it possible to reopen old cases and identify perpetrators.

The evening offers insights into fingerprints, DNA analysis, and interrogation techniques, all drawn from the National Police archives, and Strand places it all in a historical perspective on contemporary crime.

Fredrik Strand holds a cand.mag. in philosophy (2000) and history (2005), as well as a Ph.D. in police history. He has worked at Interpol's organized crime division and has directed the Police Museum since 2010. He has also written several books on both solved and unsolved cases.

The event takes place in the Fællesskabet room at Magion.
