Nature's Day: Visit Ågabet on Land and Water
The programme features a Mini-Bioblitz where participants search together for plants, animals and fungi - in the water, on land and in the air. There are also campfire activities with food cooked over the flames, small crafts for creative hands and the chance to borrow a canoe and try life on the water.
If you prefer to explore on your own, you can test the new family-friendly podcast "The Beaver in North Zealand", which guides both children and adults along the beaver's trail and tells the story of the animal.
At 11:00-11:45, M/S Frederikke sails a free trip with passengers and the beaver Aude on board. Tickets are handed out from 10:00 at Ågabet on a first-come, first-served basis.
The café serves barista coffee and ice cream. The event is a collaboration between M/S Frederikke, Ågabet Outdoor, the Association for the Preservation of Ågabet, Halsnæs Nature Club and Halsnæs Municipality.
