Danmarks Naturfredningsforening's "Talk Nature Café" is set up with birdsong, forest scents, green trees, smooth beach stones and hazel branches as the backdrop for informal conversations about sustainable living, connection to nature, consumption, habits and barriers - and how wild nature can help us move forward. There is cake, coffee and tea, and you can leave with your own message engraved on a beach stone.

Also stop by the sewing workshop, where you can learn repair techniques to give old clothes new life.

On Thursday at 2-3 p.m., Mette Hoffgaard Ranfelt, environmental policy chief advisor at Danmarks Naturfredningsforening, visits the café for a talk about how we can create an economic system focused on human wellbeing within planetary boundaries.

On Friday at 11-11:45 a.m., Pil Christensen (environmental and nature spokesperson for the Red-Green Alliance, MP and co-author of "Wild Nature - the Forgotten Solution to the Climate Crisis") stops by to discuss how wild nature can be part of the solution to biodiversity and climate crises. On Friday at 3-5:30 p.m., textile artist Nina Ferlov from Middelfart gives a presentation on decoration and upcycling of textiles, followed by a workshop where you can try different techniques yourself.
