Robot Hour

Robot Hour is a recurring event where ITK brings one of their robots and presents it at eye level with children. Together we explore what the robots can do, how they work, and what problems they help solve - from autonomous units that collect cigarette butts at night to robots in care homes and robot dogs that can stand on their hind legs.

During Robot Hour, participants get hands-on experience with different robots and technologies. Everyone is welcome regardless of age and experience - all you need is curiosity and a desire to play with technology. You might meet Norma, a French/Japanese robot with a talent for conversation and interaction, and learn how to program a robot.
