10 Years Later - The Voices Live On: Prince

In 1985, Prince was among the world's most popular rock stars, filling the largest arenas in the USA, driven by the Purple Rain album and its accompanying film. This concert recording comes from the Purple Rain tour and showcases Prince and the Revolution at the height of their powers.

At that time his career was still relatively young, and many of the major hits lay ahead. Those that existed are performed here in definitive versions: 'When Doves Cry', '1999', 'Little Red Corvette', and a version of 'Purple Rain' lasting over 15 minutes.

Prince died unexpectedly in 2016, at only 57 years old. This screening is the second of three concerts featuring artists we lost that year - the other two are with David Bowie and Leonard Cohen.
