16 km "Beer Hike" with tour and beer tasting at Deeper Roots, September 26, 2026

The hike starts at 9:25 (departure 9:30) from the parking area at Nykøbing Harbour/Nykøbing Sailing Club, Snekkevej 11, 4500 Nykøbing Sjælland. The route follows Isefjorden and enters Annebjerg Forest via forest trails and smaller paths, continuing to Ulkerup Overdrev, Ulkerup Forest and Ulkerup Village - approximately 16 km over relatively flat terrain at a pace of about 5 km/h.

At around 9 km, the group takes a lunch break with the first beer tasting. The hike then continues back through Annebjerg Forest and up to Annebjerg Cultural Park (14 km), before visiting the local brewery Deeper Roots at 1:00 PM for a tour and beer tasting. At 2:00 PM the hike returns to Nykøbing Harbour. The total duration is just under 5 hours including breaks and the brewery visit.

Toilets are available at Barkladen (4 km) and at Nykøbing Harbour. Remember to bring weather-appropriate clothing, packed lunch, drinks and any snacks. Train to/from Nykøbing Sj. Station (800 m from the harbour) is an option.

The price is 300 DKK and includes the hike, 44 cl. of beer during the walk, plus tour and beer tasting at Deeper Roots. Tickets are purchased via Billetto. Registration is only valid upon payment, and the amount is not refunded in case of cancellation - if the hike is cancelled, the money is refunded.
