An extra Christmas walk of approximately 10 km through Annebjerg Forest. Morten Juul Pedersen from Vandresporet is repeating this year's Christmas hike on Sunday, December 20, which is the 4th Sunday of Advent. The route runs mostly on small forest paths and gravel trails through a hilly and varied forest area.

The walk starts at 12:00 from the car park at Barkladen, Egebjergvej 172, Nykøbing Sjælland. The pace is around 5 km per hour, so the walk itself takes approximately 2.5 hours. Dress warmly according to the weather.

Afterwards there is socializing at Barkladen, which the organizer has booked, so there is shelter from the weather. Homemade mulled wine (red, white, or alcohol-free) and warm æbleskiver (Danish pancake balls) are served while there is a fire in the fireplace. If you wish, you can make Christmas decorations from materials found on the forest floor. Along the way you can collect spruce, pine cones, moss and similar items, so bring a small basket or bag. Morten provides candles, clay and a wooden board. You should bring other decorations and ribbons yourself.

The price is 250 kr. and covers the walk, mulled wine, æbleskiver, and candles, clay and wooden board for the decoration. Tickets are purchased via Billetto, and the registration deadline is December 13, 2026. There must be at least 20 participants, as Barkladen charges an additional fee.

In case of cancellation by the participant, the amount is not refunded. If the walk is cancelled, you get 200 kr. back, but Billetto's fee and the cost to Barkladen are not refunded. Cancellations should be reported via Messenger or SMS to 22113747.
