Meet the Earthworm - One of Earth's Most Important Animals

The event starts at Naturcenter Kildegården, where participants head out into nature to find earthworms, which are then brought to Biblioteket Kilden. There we take a closer look at these creatures and discuss why Denmark is fortunate to have so many of them.

Thomas from Naturcenter Kildegården leads the programme. He knows the little worm inside and out - and it's not always so little, as there are actually many different species living in Danish soil. He demonstrates how to coax the worms out, how you can study their work in the soil yourself, and what you can do to attract them to your garden.

Biblioteket Kilden provides refreshments during the event.
