Red Cross volunteers help children and young people with homework and schoolwork at the library.
Biblioteket Kilden on Dildhaven in northern Herlev is a combined branch of Herlev Bibliotek and school library for Kildegårdskolen. It was formed by merging the school library with the former Hjortespring public library. The library offers lending, a homework café staffed by Red Cross volunteers, and a regular programme of events for children and adults. During unstaffed opening hours, borrowers must be at least 10 years old and use their health card to enter.
