Lecture with Marte Egeland from Doctors Without Borders

Marte Egeland is a trained physician and works as an anaesthetist in Copenhagen. She has been deployed with Doctors Without Borders to both Bosnia and Greece, where she has worked in some of the world's most demanding humanitarian situations.

At the lecture, Marte shares her experiences from the field: the difficult decisions, encounters with patients and colleagues, and the moments that make the work both challenging and meaningful. There will also be time for questions at the end - including about recruitment and what motivates people to say yes.

The lecture is arranged in collaboration between Doctors Without Borders' volunteer group in Aalborg and Aalborg Libraries. It takes place in Glashjørnet at the Main Library.
