Søren Bebe Trio 'Time Being'

Søren Bebe Trio returns to Koncertkapellet on Saturday, May 22, to celebrate the release of their tenth studio album 'Time Being' and their 20th anniversary as an ensemble. The trio is on a European tour, and Roskilde is one of the stops.

The trio features pianist and composer Søren Bebe, bassist Kasper Tagel, and Norwegian drummer Knut Finsrud. The music draws on Scandinavian jazz, folk music, and Danish hymn traditions. Jazz critic Niels Overgård from JazzNyt describes the latest release: "It's jazzy mindfulness. The sound is incredibly good. The music flows. It's peace for the soul. It's music with a healing perspective. Beautiful."

The concert begins at 19:30 and lasts approximately two hours including intermission. Beer, wine, and soft drinks are available before the concert and during the break. Last year's concert sold out quickly, so it's worth securing your ticket in advance.
