War at Europe's End

Former DR journalists Anne Haubek and Thomas Ubbesen have been traveling in Ukraine since the invasion began, collecting testimonies from soldiers and civilians - young and old - living with the consequences of war every day since Russia's invasion in February 2022.

Based on these journeys, they offer a personal insight into Ukraine today and the questions the war raises for the rest of Europe. The lecture also addresses the current military and international political situation, but places people at the center rather than strategy.

In August 2026, their book War at the End of Europe is published by Gyldendal.
