Repair Café: Get Help Fixing What's Broken

Is your kitchen appliance broken, does a lamp need rewiring, or have you torn your favourite trousers? Repair Café is a group of volunteers of different ages, backgrounds and skills who repair things that would otherwise end up in the bin - for free.

The volunteer fixers can help with small electrical household appliances, computers, radios, toys, shoes, clothes and bags, as well as things that need soldering, gluing or screwing. If you're unsure whether they can help with your item, just ask them.

They do not help with: bicycles (including repairs), lawnmowers, larger machines and electrical appliances, mobile phones or jewellery.

Can you repair electronics yourself, sew a patch on clothes or replace a cable? Then you're welcome to learn about joining the fixer team. Find them on the ground floor at the round tables.
